CIM Breaks All Previous Records at 2022 Auction at World of Concrete
The National Steering Committee (NSC) for the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program – a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management – is pleased to announce they raised more than $1.740 million in gross revenue at its annual auction, held in conjunction with the World of Concrete on Wednesday, Jan. 19.
“This year’s auction was a tremendous success, both in terms of the value of donated items and the Auction participants,” commented Ben Robuck, CIM Auction Committee Chairman. “The results are indicative of the high value the concrete industry places on the CIM program. We thank the concrete industry for their tremendous support. In addition to a concrete mixer truck donated by Mack® Trucks, Inc. and McNeilus®, a truck-mounted concrete pump donated by Alliance Concrete Pumps, a truck chassis donated by NORCAL Kenworth and Kenworth Truck Co., a high-performance mixer donated by Con-Tech Manufacturing, Inc., an S-485 Laser Screed® donated by Somero Enterprises and a Shumaker Industries’ Load and Go Ready Mix Truck Wash® system, we had a variety of items targeted specifically for the concrete industry.”

Con-Tech Manufacturing, Inc. Donates Extreme Duty 10.5-Yard High Performance Mixer To World of Concrete Auction
The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program is pleased to announce the donation of an Extreme Duty 10.5-yard High Performance mixer for the annual auction at World of Concrete. This item includes the mixer only. Truck chassis is not included.
The Extreme Duty 10.5-yard set back mixer is equipped as follows:

Somero Enterprises, Inc. Donates Somero® S-485 Laser Screed® Machine For CIM Auction At World of Concrete
The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program – a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management – is pleased to announce the donation of a Somero Enterprises, Inc. S-485 Laser Screed® for the annual auction at World of Concrete.
The Somero S-485 Laser Screed® is incredibly easy to operate and a very powerful 4-wheel drive machine. It is very multi-functional as well capable of fine grading most subbase materials, raking concrete level, or for screeding of concrete to very high floor levelness standards including world record setting and Golden Trowel® Award winning performance. Its lightweight design allows for utilization either on grade or on most decks (level or cambered), ice rinks, or chaired mesh or rebar. The annual auction will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19 in the West Hall Room W106 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The silent auction will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and the live auction begins at 1 p.m. Once again this year, Internet bidding will be available on the Ritchie Bros. website, www.rbauction.com. CIM Announces Donation By Mack Trucks and McNeilus For Annual Auction at 2022 World of Concrete
The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program—a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management—is pleased to announce that one of the signature items for their annual auction at World of Concrete is a 2022 Mack® Granite® donated by Mack Trucks and equipped with a McNeilus® FLEX Controls™ Standard Mixer donated by McNeilus.

CIM Announces Donation By Alliance Concrete Pumps, NORCAL Kenworth and Kenworth Truck Company For Annual Auction at World of Concrete
The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program—a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management—is pleased to announce that the signature item for their annual auction at World of Concrete is a truck-mounted 38M concrete pump donated by Alliance Concrete Pumps, NORCAL Kenworth and Kenworth Truck Company.

CIM Seeking Donations for Upcoming Auction at 2022 World of Concrete
The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program is seeking donations for their 2022 CIM Auction to be held at World of Concrete. The auction is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The silent auction will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and the live auction begins at 1 p.m. “The proceeds from the 2022 CIM Auction will benefit the CIM National Steering Committee (NSC) and support the current CIM programs at Middle Tennessee State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Texas State University, California State University – Chico, South Dakota State University, the Executive MBA program, as well as help fund scholarships,” said Ben Robuck, Chairman of the CIM Auction Committee.
Once again, the CIM Auction organizers are hoping for another record event in 2022. According to CIM Marketing Committee Chairman Brian Gallagher, the 2021 auction, while not a record-breaker, raised an impressive $1.150 million in gross revenue. “The annual CIM Auction is a critical funding mechanism for the CIM NSC,” said Gallagher. “We’ve been blessed with tremendous support from the concrete industry and the World of Concrete Show Management has been an amazing partner.” Read the press release here.
