NJIT’s Armin Saadegh-Vaziri Receives “People’s Choice” Award
The PCI Foundation and the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute recently hosted its 4th annual student design competition called “Project Precast.” The goal of the competition is to introduce students to the many uses of precast/prestressed concrete and to showcase the availability of design assist by the precast industry. Each group of four students creates a design solution in an effort to win a $4,000 cash award. The audience voted for the People’s Choice award, which came with a financial prize of $2,000 as well. It gives us great pleasure to report that Armin Saadegh-Vaziri was a member of the winning team that took home the People’s Choice Award. Armin, congratulations!
