Michael J. Schneider, FACI, has dedicated more than four decades to shaping and advancing the concrete industry. Beginning his career at Baker Concrete in 1978 as a Project Manager, he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer before retiring.
Schneider’s leadership extends beyond his tenure at Baker Concrete. He is a past President of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), two of the industry’s most respected organizations. Currently, he leads Michael Schneider Consulting, LLC, where he continues to provide strategic insights and guidance to the industry.
Schneider’s lifelong commitment to progress in concrete construction is underscored by his decades of involvement with ACI. He serves on the board of directors for PRO: An ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Productivity. This organization, along with its members, is dedicated to driving innovation by advancing new technologies and processes within the concrete industry.
With a legacy of impactful leadership and a relentless passion for improvement, Schneider remains a significant voice in the evolution of concrete practices worldwide.
