Students Continue Work in Dominican Republic

During the first weeks in May, students from MTSU CIM traveled to the Dominican Republic for the third year in a row to build concrete prisms to be placed in the ocean. The prisms are an artificial reef and gives the aquatic life sanctuary from fishermen. The MTSU CIM students built more than 20 prisms during their time in the Dominican Republic. It is a great learning experience as many of the students have never built anything or poured any concrete before this project.
