SDSU’s Department of Construction and CIM Renaming Reflects Programs’ Growth

South Dakota State University’s Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering recently restructured and renamed one of its departments. It is now known as the Department of Construction and Concrete Industry Management. This change took effect on July 1. Previously, the department was called the Department of Construction and Operations Management. The name change coincided with the operations management program moving into SDSU’s Ness School of Management and Economics. Notably, the department’s two largest programs are construction management and concrete industry management, both of which have experienced significant enrollment growth.
