MTSU Team NASA Kicks Off Summer 2024 Internships
MTSU CIM students Hailey Mondelli and Hannah Roeger have been chosen as NASA interns for summer 2024 as part of the Minority University Research and Education Program (MUREP). This is the third year of MTSU’s MUREP partnership with Drake State Community and Technical College in Huntsville, AL. The goal of the MUREP program is to engage underrepresented populations in STEM research and education related to NASA missions. Hailey and Hannah will study with Professor Jon Huddleston, Dr. Zhifu Yang, Dr. Jacob Avila, Dr. Kelly Strong and CIM Lab Manager Cannon Lamb on autonomous construction technology, remote sensing technologies, advanced mix design and concrete testing for structural health.
