Growth in the program continues at a steady pace, with no sign of slowing in sight. That growth has led to some additions on the staff too. MTSU’s Executive Advisory Council
The MTSU CIM Program gained a lot of momentum by the creation of the Executive Advisory Council which was chaired in its first year by Henry Batten with Concrete Supply Co. This upcoming year will be led by Gene Hightower with Ready Mix USA. Activity with EAC included creation of a research brochure that will go out this spring to companies, recruitment of potential faculty hires for the program, planning and development for the building fundraising campaign and creation of two new courses through our Concrete Contracting concentration.
MTSU Patrons
The Patrons continue to be the backbone of the MTSU program with weekly visits and insight that has kept the program moving forward. They have organized two fundraisers through a raffle and limited truck series. You can order your truck by emailing Sally Bradford at bradford@mtsu.edu. They are $100 and only 500 were made with each number labeled on the front bumper. It is our plan to have a different piece of equipment each year to sell. Each year two will be donated to the WOC auction.
