2007 CIM Auction

Once again, the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program will be holding an auction at the World of Concrete®. The CIM National Steering Committee (NSC), Patrons and Staff, along with the World of Concrete® Show Management, Hanley Wood Publications, and Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, will be sponsoring this major fundraising unreserved auction during the 2007 World of Concrete®.

Last year, over 200 attendees and exhibitors participated in the bidding action. McNeilus Truck Manufacturing donated a brand new mixer, and Somero donated one of its PowerRakes, along with dozens more items that went to the highest bidders. Over $250,000 was raised during last year’s auction!

The 2007 CIM Auction is scheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2007. The 2007 CIM Auction will benefit the CIM Programs at Middle Tennessee State University, Arizona State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology and the California State University - Chico.

About the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program:
In early 1995, the concrete industry began efforts to create the first (and only) four-year degree program in Concrete Industry Management (CIM). The CIM program is designed to combat the anticipated shortage of skilled managers needed to support the expected growth in the concrete industry. The program teaches students the skills and techniques needed to excel in all segments the concrete and concrete construction industries.
